Pricing Model FAQ
Q: Can a VAR pick and choose between PAYG
pricing and Server Deployment Pack pricing?
A: Yes, a VAR can pick and choose either pricing model.
Q: Does the PAYG license physically
terminate the software at the end of the year?
A: No, but the end user license agreement will have language giving
Revelation Software the ability to do an internal audit.
Q: Is the cost of one PAYG license in
year 1 $70.00 or $140.00?
A: The cost in year 1 is $140.00 and then $70.00 each year after.
Q: What happens if I sell a 10-user license today and they want to
increase the number of users to 15 in 3 months?
A: The additional 5 users will be charged at a prorated rate of 9 months
to bring the additional users in line with the original purchase. In
this example the additional 5 users will be charged at $105.00/user
($52.50
+ $52.50). In year 2 the annual charge will be $1050.00 (15 x $70.00).
Q: What happens if I sell a 10-user PAYG
license and then someone drops to 5-users at the first or subsequent
anniversary?
A: There will be no decrease in the annual charge. In this case the
charge for each subsequent year will be $700.00 (10 x $70.00)
